Aisha Jamila hinds, a popular American actor. The actress is well known for the roles she played in TV series The Shield, and True Blood. She has demonstrated her versatility through 2003 when she has delivered outstanding performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit, 1-8-7, as well as Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her role as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. Her performance in the biographical movie All the Way as the feminist activist Fannie Lou Hammer brought Hind to the notice by the media. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for a 3rd season.
